About Me

My Name is Mallory, I'm a small town girl living in Wisconsin with my son and three cats. I have an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design from Bryant & Stratton College downtown Milwaukee and have worked as a Graphic Designer for over 10 years. I have always felt a deep connection with art, imagination and creativity.

I started painting in middle school and fell in love. I've continued to create paintings here and there since. I mostly paint with acrylics on canvas or canvas board. Other medias I have been playing with are: charcoals, pastels, pencil, pen, block prints and digital art. Digital art is fairly new to me, aside from advertising and print material design. Photography is another media that has spark interest, especially landscapes and sky pictures and have inspired some of my paintings.

Most of my paintings have been derived from my inner emotions and visions. Commission work hasn't been much of my forte, I usually will not know what I am painting until it is completed. I can look back at a painting and tell you exactly what I was feeling when I had painted it, but can not tell you while I'm painting it. It is a release of stress, excitement and peace.
